In the last 2 weeks, I have had several people voice conflicts with Thursday night rehearsals. I would like to hear some feed back on a Thursday night verses Saturday morning rehearsal. Your input would be greatly appreciated before considering adjustments to the schedule.

It seems that our school plans things for Thursday nights. I just found another conflict in November. Another con for Thursday is that I'm keeping my young kids out late two nights in a row. Otherwise, I like Thursday rehearsal. It gives us time to work on stuff at home AFTER we've had a chance to run through it with the group. Saturday morning, on the other hand, would give us a bit more time to work something (provided we clear out before the Saturday wedding stuff). We may, however, run into conflicts with special events that take place on Saturdays (though there shouldn't be too many of these). The ultimate reason why I wouldn't care for regular rehearsals on Saturday is it is THE ONLY day I get to sleep in. (No, not until 10 am or anything, but making it past 7:30 is always a treat). Oh, I just had a thought (and trust me, right now, having a thought is truly an accomplishment)what will we do about Thanksgiving week? I won't be there Weds or Thurs. I host it every year and will be too busy. OK, I'm tired, I'm rambling, I'm done... Have I helped or confused the situation? See you in a week (or so).
